Join the Shorewood Business Improvement District and the Shorewood Public Art Committee for the inaugural Shorewood Art Walk, a free event that will showcase local visual and performance artists, and celebrate the talent that makes Shorewood such a creative community. Shorewood First Ride & Bike Rodeo

The Shorewood Recreation Department will again host this annual event, intended to encourage children’s bicycling skills and safety, at the Atwater Elementary School West Playground.

First Ride: Children 3 and older will learn bike safety using the “balance first” method. Last check-in is at 11 a.m.

Bike Rodeo: For children in Grades 2-6, this clinic will educate parents and children about bike safety and traffic rules, and will feature fun relays and races. Last check-in is at 1 p.m.

The event is free to Shorewood residents, but pre-registration is required here.

22nd Annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic

The Shorewood Business Improvement District will once again host a stop on the largest cycling event in the country at the 22nd Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic on Friday, June 26, 2026! The Tour of America’s Dairyland features 11 days of competitive racing around Wisconsin and brings in riders from amateurs to professionals. This year our route has shifted, but that won’t stop the excitement and events throughout the day! For more information about the day’s events and opportunities to volunteer, click here.

Make a splash at the Shorewood Foundation dunk tank during this year’s Shorewood 12 Bike Race, a daylong event bringing the community to gether for great causes. You’ll have a chance to sink one of your favorite board members and learn more about the Foundation’s 2026 Shark Tank event. Fourth of July Fireworks and Parade

Beginning with the rollocking parade at 3 PM down Oakland Ave. and concluding with the traditional fireworks show at Atwater Park, it’s sure to be a day not to miss. The Foundation has sponsored the fireworks and festivities for more than two decades. We are thrilled to partner with Eastmore Real Estate, returning for a second year as co-sponsor of our fireworks show.

21st Annual Shorewood Criterium Bike Race

Shorewood will return to playing host for a day to the largest cycling event in the country, the 21st Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic on Friday, June 27th, 2025! The Tour of America’s Dairyland features 11 days of competitive racing around Wisconsin and brings in riders from amateurs to professionals. In addition, our local event includes kids races (littles, middles and tweens) and more fun at the Kensington Square block party!
