Since 1964, the Shorewood Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the culture, beauty, quality of life and neighborhood spirit of the Village of Shorewood through community support. Thanks to contributions large and small, the Foundation is committed to ensuring that Shorewood, Wisconsin, remains a special place to live, work and visit.

Catch the wave
Aimed at reducing single-use plastic in the Village, the Catch the Wave campaign from the Shorewood Waters Project received funding and is working with the Shorewood Conservation Committee, Plastic-Free Milwaukee and other groups.

The Shorewood Waters Project is deeply grateful for the Foundation's generous support to help integrate community art into our environmental education efforts and support the launch of Catch the Wave Shorewood, which is focused on reducing single-use plastic.
